Down to Earth Gifts features artisan products made by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden, PA, or cultivated on the Sisters’ 80-acre campus.
Since our founding in 1650 in France, the Sisters of St. Joseph have maintained artisan trades to sustain themselves and their ministries. In France, they made lace. Today in Baden, we tend bees and make creams, note cards, story bowls, gift boxes and more.
Your purchase supports our ministries of ecology, spirituality, and justice. Together, we can create a more unified, loving, and equitable world for every dear neighbor.
If local pickup is selected during checkout, an email notification will be sent when your order is ready. Orders can be picked up at the reception desk inside the Sisters of St. Joseph main entrance Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please call 724-869-2151 for help finding our main entrance.
