Meet Our Sister Shopkeepers

As friends and colleagues for more than 50 years, Sisters Rosanne Oberleitner and Diane Cauley are embracing a new venture together as the coordinators of Down to Earth Gifts, our newly renamed gift shop. Together, they have supported the behind-the-scenes efforts of the gift shop since 2018 when they began helping to produce our all-natural hand cream, lip balm, and soap.

“It’s satisfying because you have a product when you’re done,” Sister Diane says about preparing the beeswax infused products. “I’ve always been fascinated by nature, but to think that the bees and the flowers produce honey is just miraculous so to be able to take that and make another product from the Earth is just so cool.”

Artwork by Sister Sandy

Our storefront in Baden features original paintings by Sister Sandy Yost who enjoys creating in a variety of mediums including pastel, oil, and acrylic.

Sister Sandy also supports the technical aspects of Down to Earth gifts and was instrumental in launching this new online store.

Photo Cards by Sister Gerrie

An avid photographer, Sister Gerrie Grandpre’s note cards feature images of beautiful blooms, scenic spots, and other wonders of God’s Creation.
